The Academic session is from April to March based on C.B.S.E. Pattern.
There are three major vacation during one academics year v.i.z. the summer vacation (May- June) the Puja vacation (Sep- Oct/ Nov) and winter break (Dec- Jan) the school has six full working days from (Monday to Saturday). Saturday is half day.
The medium of instruction right from the beginning in English and Hindi are taught from the very beginning. Third language Sanskrit is taught from class IV.
The school has a system of continuous evaluation. There are Fortnightly, Monthly and Terminal Test and promotion to the next class depends on the cumulative academic achievement of the student at the end of the year. Progress Report of the students are sent to the parents to keep them informed about their wards progress. Parents Teachers meeting is held after Term Exam in which presence of parents/ Guardian is Compulsory. Private Tutors are not entertained.
A student is entitled to appear at the Examination only when his all the dues till the month in which the examination is going to be held is cleared.
Now, accordingly to the changing methods of teaching and curriculum by the C.B.S.E. Delhi, the school has been on the rail of continuous Comprehensive Evaluation. Both the Formative and Summative Assessment will have been imparted each and every day. Therefore the school ranking students on the basis of their marks will not be evaluated on the contrary F.A. & S.A. with grads. Such a drive has general negative facts on learning. So the National Curriculum Framework 2005 (NCF) envisaged evaluation system which could grade the students. Accordingly the statement subject wise of performance to be issued by the predetermined marks ranges as detailed below:
